A combination of traditional & digital high-quality services embracing servitization and digitalization to improve machine performances.
Universal Pack provides you with integrated support, with a combination of traditional and digital high-quality services. As the digital transformation runs faster and faster, we are embracing digitalization and servitization by adopting new technologies. The mix of traditional and digital services enhances our versatility: our main goal is to increase your satisfaction by improving machine performance.
What is servitization and how has it changed the business of packaging machines?
The term “servitization” refers to the transition of the industries from a product-centric business logic, mainly focused on selling products, to an enhanced service-oriented logic. This approach can facilitate customer value creation by providing advanced services. All industries are embracing digital servitization, which allow them to be recognized as “solution-providers”. Servitization requires a customer-centric approach, in order to develop customized solutions for a better fulfillment of customer’s specific needs.
The path towards digital servitization has been accelerated and shortened because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, at Universal Pack, we were prepared to face this challenging situation. In fact, we enhanced our remote services by introducing new protocols for remote FAT and SAT. Moreover, we develop digital services for any phase of your customer journey, such as:
digital commissioning;
remote project review;
validation of your packaging machine or line in our headquarter (remote FAT);
installation and validation at your manufacturing site (remote SAT);
assistance through augmented reality and smart glasses;
remote training in virtual environment.
What does “Integrated Support” mean?
Universal Pack provides you with integrated support. This term refers to a combination of traditional and digital services, which Universal Pack customizes according to your machine and your needs. Indeed, fundamental part of the process is the integration between the customer’s MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and our IoT (Internet of Things). Thanks to the integration of Industry 4.0, we control every process, optimizing them according to the structured data provided.
