Universal Pack designs and builds  “Gamma Flexi” sachet packaging machines to be suitable with any product, from powders to liquids. This sachet machine combines versatility with high efficiency. We design it following the TPM requirements, in order to guarantee minimum downtime, maximum flexibility, easy format change and cleaning operations in a compact footprint.

Which dosing systems are suitable with our Gamma Flexi sachet machine?

We can provide your sachet machine for flexible formats with any dosing system, according to your needs and depending on the composition of the product. For this reason, we offer:

  • Auger and basculating for powders and granules;
  • Gravimetric and flowmeter for liquid or semiliquid products;
  • Piston pump for liquid, semiliquid or viscous products.

Easy and fast changeovers give you the possibility to switch from powders to liquids. For this reason, we can provide your Gamma Flexi with two different dosing systems, according to your needs. Moreover, you can use only one or two dosers at a time. We design this solution in order to give you the possibility to pack both powders and liquids in the same sachet, in two separate sachets or in twin sachets.

Universal Pack sachet machines for flexible formats are specifically-dedicated to single-dose packages. For example, we can dose from 0,1 to 200 g. or ml. of product in a single sachet, the dimensions of which vary depending on your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.

Moreover, we provide you with the possibility to easily integrate your sachet machine in a Universal Pack packaging line for cartoning. Our lines allow you to insert from 1 up to 100 or more sachets in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any amount of packages to be picked up and put into cartons. In recent years, our philosophy is to save as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.

Universal Pack Gamma Flexi sachet machines can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: Filter paper, PAP-PE (paper – polyethene), PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene), PET-ALU-PE (polyethene terephthalate – aluminium – polyethene) and cold sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethene), and more on request.

Our non-stop research in reducing the packaging industry carbon footprint resulted in streamlined machinery design for packing recycled, recyclable and compostable laminates. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is used to measure the environmental impact of our products and identify optimal ways to reduce it. It is a 360° analysis that goes beyond the mere packaging produced and involves every step of the packaging machinery production process. We develop our solutions shoulder-to-shoulder with the main global film suppliers and test them in agreement with major multinational companies in order to provide them with a turnkey solution able to produce eco-packages.
