WATER IS LIFE: Chapter 7
Children are not responsible for this war.
The Tigray war in Ethiopia has officially ended in January 2021, but the aftermath of it has devastated and still oppresses the local population, especially children.
Even though the responsibilities of this are not to be laid on civilians, they are those who are paying the highest price. As a matter of fact the local economy stays still and those who managed to save themselves from the battles are starving and dying of thirst.
For all these reasons we as Universal Pack have decided to contribute and help the locals by providing them with food for 3 months in order to make it through the hardest period.
The project “Donare un pranzo al giorno” by Onlus Fonte di vita delivers around 400 meals per day to children. The goal is to collect € 20.000 by 31st July 2021.
It is not much for us, but it is a lot for people in real need.
