Sachet Machine for Viscous & Liquids
Universal Pack designs continuous-motion sachet machines for liquid and viscous products, ensuring high dosing accuracy through its piston pump dosing system.
Which dosing systems are suitable for packaging viscous & liquids?
Piston pump guarantees high flexibility with micrometrical adjustment of the dose. This characteristic results in the wide range of product that piston pump can dose, such as viscous, pasty and non-free flowing liquids. We install the pump on the side of the machine in order to facilitate its accessibility for cleaning or on an independent pedestal to make its displacement to an appropriate cleaning area easier. Moreover, we can provide heated pistons cylinders and heated pipes to avoid the solidification of the product during machine stop.
Contrary to flowmeter dosing system, piston pump dosing solution guarantees not only higher flexibility, but also better system precision and higher work speed. Moreover, piston pump is a user friendly volumetric dosing system: e.g. users need only to set a parameter when the density of the product changes.
Our sachet machines for viscous and liquids are a compact solution combining the highest output with a small footprint. These solutions include many advantages such as great dose accuracy, minor wrapping material waste, easy handling and cleaning. Moreover, our user-friendly and modular sachet machines allow our customers to reduce downtime and fulfill their increasingly high production demands.

Types of Packages

Formats
Universal Pack sachet machines are specifically-dedicated to single-dose packages. For example, we can dose from 0,1 up to 200 g. or ml. of viscous, pasty and non-free flowing liquids in a sachet, the dimensions of which vary depending on your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.
Moreover, we provide you with the possibility to easily integrate your sachet machine in a Universal Pack packaging line for cartoning. Our lines allow you to insert from 1 up to 100 or more sachets in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any amount of packages to be picked up and put into cartons. In recent years, our philosophy is to save as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.
Laminates
Universal Pack sachet machines for viscous and liquids can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene), PET-ALU-PE (polyethene terephthalate – aluminium – polyethene) and cold sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethene), and more on request.

Sustainability
Our non-stop research in reducing the packaging industry carbon footprint resulted in streamlined machinery design for processing recycled, recyclable and compostable laminates. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is used to measure the environmental impact of our products and identify optimal ways to reduce it. It is a 360° analysis that goes beyond the mere packaging produced and involves every step of the packaging machinery production process. We develop our solutions shoulder-to-shoulder with the main global film suppliers and test them in agreement with major multinational companies in order to provide them with a turnkey solution able to produce eco-packages.
