Environmental Sustainability Management

The initiatives concerning environmental sustainability conducted by Universal Pack span various major issues. 

Thanks to sizeable investments in solar panel installations on the majority of our plant rooftops, we are able to curb our environmental impact by reducing greenhouse gas emissions but also conserving substantial amounts of water compared to traditional energy systems annually.

To effectively address waste management, dedicated waste collection points have been established throughout our facilities, leading to a remarkable 50% reduction in undifferentiated waste since 2018, setting a commendable example for pollution reduction.

In addition to these efforts, we adhere to the prevailing European emissions guidelines. Our selection of materials and products with lower environmental impacts, combined with the utilization of renewable solar energy, collectively contribute to the reduction of our carbon footprint.

Our journey towards sustainability is closely intertwined with the actions of our partners. Consequently, Universal Pack diligently assesses the sustainability practices of its supply chain collaborators. Ensuring sustainability aligns with the core of our packaging machines and automated lines. Accordingly, we institute specific protocols for the ethical, social, and environmental performance evaluation of each potential supplier.
