Clean In Place (CIP) is a cleaning system that washes internal product-contact parts without disassembly.
It cleans nozzles, cylinders, pistons, pipes, manifolds, and the dosing circuit.
Universal Pack integrates CIP to reduce downtime and simplify cleaning routines. The system runs automatic cleaning cycles through product valves. The HMI manages and monitors each cycle with clear parameters.
How the CIP procedure works
CIP follows a structured and repeatable procedure based on predefined “recipes.” Each recipe sets the cycle steps and parameters, such as time, temperature, flow rate, and detergent concentration.
Operators select the correct recipe on the HMI. The machine then runs the cycle automatically, step by step, through the product-contact circuit.
At the end of the cycle, the system saves the key data and confirms completion. This supports traceability and consistent cleaning results across batches and shifts.
A rotating spray ball supports complete hopper cleaning. This solution helps reach internal surfaces in a controlled way.
Why CIP matters in daily production
CIP shortens cleaning time and reduces manual work. It also supports consistent hygiene results across shifts and batches. Less disassembly also means fewer setup steps and faster restart.
Designed for hygienic standards
Universal Pack designs CIP-ready sachet machines following EHEDG Guidelines and 3-A Sanitary Standards. The architecture supports cleaning without dismantling and without changeover setup for CIP.
CIP as part of a wider hygienic package
On selected platforms, CIP can integrate with other hygienic solutions. These include COP and SIP options, based on the application and required hygiene level. The goal stays the same. Protect product quality and keep the line available.
