Ultraclean Stick Pack Machine

Universal Pack designs and builds a wide range of custom-built stick pack machines for ultraclean packaging. Specifically, our vertical intermittent-motion Ultraclean stick pack machines can handle all kinds of products guaranteeing the highest hygienic standards.

Sterilization & decontamination technologies

We design our stick pack machines for ultraclean packaging with top-down laminar flow. This technology avoids external agents to get in contact with dosing and formation groups in order to prevent the product area contamination. We also provide chemical and non-chemical technologies for film decontamination. Our ultraclean machines are easily accessible for their maintenance and washdown operations.

We always verify the ultraclean system effectiveness in our internal laboratory. Ultraclean machines grant the same shelf life of our customers’ products but without using preservatives.

Universal pack designs all the parts of this type of machine in accordance with hygienic design good practices, such as self-draining surfaces and flat weldings. In addition to that, the sealing groups are entirely foamable.

We design each machine for ultraclean stick packs to guarantee high levels of hygiene, precision, quality and efficiency.

The company’s patented design to insert and fold sealing film around forming tubes represents one of the advantages that ensures maximum efficiency and reliability. Thanks to this Universal Pack machines are known worldwide.

Universal Pack stick pack machines for ultraclean packaging are specifically-dedicated to single-dose packages. For example, we can dose from 0,1 to 200 gr or ml of product in a stick pack, the dimensions of which vary depending on your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.

Moreover, we provide you with the possibility to easily integrate your stick pack machine in a Universal Pack packaging line for cartoning. Our lines allow you to put from 1 up to 100 or more stick packs in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any amount of packages to be picked up and put into cartons. In recent years, our philosophy is to save as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.

Universal Pack stick pack machines for ultraclean packaging can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: PAP-PE (paper – polyethene), PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene), PET-ALU-PE (polyethene terephthalate – aluminium – polyethene) and cold sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethene), and more on request.

Our non-stop research in reducing the packaging industry carbon footprint resulted in streamlined machinery design for processing recycled, recyclable and compostable laminates. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is used to measure the environmental impact of our products and identify optimal ways to reduce it. It is a 360° analysis that goes beyond the mere packaging produced and involves every step of the packaging machinery production process. We develop our solutions shoulder-to-shoulder with the main global film suppliers and test them in agreement with major multinational companies in order to provide them with a turnkey solution able to produce eco-packages.
