Technological innovation

Technological innovation: good news for the Italian 4.0 industry. Three big companies operating in the manufacturing and engineering industry such as Universal Pack, Fom Industrie and MT Marchetti just started a project to include students into the working environment. This project is part of a great program for the development and formation for high school students.

Assisted by internal tutors, students will work on state-of-the-art machines and will live the digitalisation and 4.0 technological innovation processes happening in these companies.

Universal Pack technology design

The idea is brought from the will of three entrepreneurs from the production region of Cattolica- San Giovanni in Marignano, precisely Pietro Donati (Universal Pack), Gianluca Marchetti (MT Marchetti) and Alessandro Pettinari (Fom Industrie) who felt the need to create a stronger relationship between school and work. Considering the flexibility thattechnological innovation asks for in these days, and considering the speed of changes in the technology and work structure they believe it is essential involving the future workers. The aim is to better integrate the theory learnt at schools with the experience gained on field.

Universal Pack 4.0 technological innovation

This is extremely important for students as they will be given possibility to confront in world-wide realities and technological pioneers in the manufacturing sector. At Universal Pack, particularly, students will practice all the phases of the production process: from mechanical designing to scientific research and chemical analysis of products and films, from assembly to human resources and will have the chance to be permanently employed after high school diploma.

“Market asks for great flexibility and adaptability. Technologies, materials and norms are in constant evolution.

The world of School is not always able to keep up with the times of the industrial world, and this often makes the individuation of professional technicians hard.

Our wish is to let students get contact with professionals in a fully operating environment”.

Automatic vertical packaging machines for all needs: since 50 years we are bringing innovation to the world of single-dose packaging, producing high-performance automatic vertical bagging machines which we can adjust to the costumer’s specific needs. Besides single-serve packaging machines, our primary and secondary products line can satisfy the most peculiar packaging needs, producing 4 side heat-sealed bags, shaped sachets, stick-packs and hollow-punch cases. We are always in absolute control of the situation, as design, production and assembly of each packaging machine take place in our company.

Our packaging machines are designed and manufactured entirely by us, therefore we are able to produce customised machines, packaging lines and solutions for every commodity sector. In addition, it is possible to edit operational parameters via touch-screen display, with no need for mechanical intervention. Overall, all the operating parameters are electronically managed and thus they can be edited without interrupting the production phase. Furthermore, all our automatic vertical packaging machines were designed and tested to work 24/7.

Every year we invest in research and development in the field of single-dose packaging, so that our automatic vertical packaging machines can become even more trustworthy and efficient. This has allowed us to manufacture productive machines which remain excellent even after 30 years of use. Their reliability is guaranteed by our company’s factory, which produces over the 80% of the machines’ components, and strict quality control. In order to adapt the production of automatic vertical packaging machines to the market needs, we implement power supply groups to allow the existing packaging system to elaborate complementary products.
