Technological innovation: good news for the Italian 4.0 industry. Three big companies operating in the manufacturing and engineering industry such as Universal Pack, Fom Industrie and MT Marchetti just started a project to include students into the working environment. This project is part of a great program for the development and formation for high school students.

Assisted by internal tutors, students will work on state-of-the-art machines and will live the digitalisation and 4.0 technological innovation processes happening in these companies.

Universal Pack technology design

The idea is brought from the will of three entrepreneurs from the production region of Cattolica- San Giovanni in Marignano, precisely Pietro Donati (Universal Pack), Gianluca Marchetti (MT Marchetti) and Alessandro Pettinari (Fom Industrie) who felt the need to create a stronger relationship between school and work. Considering the flexibility thattechnological innovation asks for in these days, and considering the speed of changes in the technology and work structure they believe it is essential involving the future workers. The aim is to better integrate the theory learnt at schools with the experience gained on field.

Universal Pack 4.0 technological innovation

This is extremely important for students as they will be given possibility to confront in world-wide realities and technological pioneers in the manufacturing sector. At Universal Pack, particularly, students will practice all the phases of the production process: from mechanical designing to scientific research and chemical analysis of products and films, from assembly to human resources and will have the chance to be permanently employed after high school diploma.

“Market asks for great flexibility and adaptability. Technologies, materials and norms are in constant evolution.

The world of School is not always able to keep up with the times of the industrial world, and this often makes the individuation of professional technicians hard.

Our wish is to let students get contact with professionals in a fully operating environment”.

Pietro Donati
