How Many Products Can I Pack on a Machine?

Achtung! Der Inhalt dieser Seite ist nur in den folgenden Sprachen verfügbar: English - Italian

Let’s get this straight, products of the same kind with similar physical properties can be packed on the same machine. However the feasibility is to be assessed case by case depending on the differences between the products. If the products are similar they can be usually packed with just some small adjustments (mechanical and software). Such small adjustments shouldn’t take up too long to be set and most of the time they can all be carried out within an hour time. Whenever the products differ a lot in composition, the changes needed might be of greater significance and require more complex solutions with changeover to fit all the products on the same machine, increasing the complexity of the equipment which is not ideal. In order to develop the best packaging solution it is important to consider the possibility of working with more products during the design process.

Analyzing how different products behave is very important to understand if there is any compatibility for packing them on the same machine or if some specific additional devices are needed. Universal Pack Laboratory was also created for this, to expand the knowledge of the customers‘ products towards new horizons.
